Privacy policy

Leo Live (“we”) is a live streaming and ticketing service for Tanzania and East Africa. This policy explains what we collect when you watch, subscribe, or host, and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account details: email, display name, and the role on your profile.
• Watch and purchase activity: streams you open, tickets, gifts, and wallet movements.
• Device information needed for guest playback sessions (a device fingerprint, not your contacts).
• Payment details handled by our payment partners (such as mobile-money checkout). We do not store full card or PIN data.
• Optional identity documents if you apply as a creator (KYC review).

How we use it

We use this information to run the service: sign-in, playback, tickets, payouts, abuse prevention, and support. We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share with

We share only what a provider needs to operate: authentication (Supabase), video delivery (Mux), payments (AzamPay and similar), email delivery, and hosting. Hosts see activity on their own streams, not your full account.

Retention

We keep account and ledger records while your account is open and as required for tax and dispute handling. Stream recordings follow the VOD retention shown in the product (default 24 hours unless a longer window is set).

Your choices

You can update profile details in the app and request account closure by emailing us. Where local law gives you access, correction, or deletion rights, we will honour a verified request.
